12th Night: Serenade

"If music be the food of love, play on!” Taking the Bard’s advice literally, 12th Night: Serenade combines classical language and contemporary music performed by an engaging vocal ensemble to retell the story of Viola and Sebastian, identical twins separated by a tragic shipwreck and cast ashore in a strange land. Love triangles, mistaken identity, disguises, pranks, and. . . pop songs? 12th Night: Serenade is an enchanting, mix tape tribute to Shakespeare’s most musical comedy.
